Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar and Italian dressing mix. Mix well.
- Coat both sides of each chicken breast with the brown sugar mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle any remaining brown sugar mixture on top of the chicken.
Cooking
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- To finish, turn the broiler on HIGH. Broil the chicken for 1 to 2 minutes until the brown sugar caramelizes. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning!
Notes
Best served hot right out of the oven. Pair with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container. It will stay fresh for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or can be frozen for up to 2 months.
