Steps
- Blend your chosen fruit, lemon juice, and sweetener in a blender until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats, then spread the fruit mixture thinly and evenly across the prepared surface.
- Bake in an oven preheated to a low temperature (around 175°F/80°C) for 2 to 4 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky to the touch.
- Once completely cool, peel the fruit leather from the paper or mat, cut into strips, and roll them up.
Notes
Ensure the fruit puree is spread very thinly for even drying. Cooking time may vary depending on your oven or dehydrator and the thickness of the puree. Store finished fruit roll-ups in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks, or in the refrigerator for longer.
