Preparation
- Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into even 1/4-inch thick fries. Pat them thoroughly dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Cooking
- In a large bowl, toss the dried potato fries with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
- Remove the fries from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crispy fries, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat them completely dry before seasoning and air frying.
