Ingredients
  

For the Sandwiches
  • 4 pieces Italian hoagie rolls Best for holding the fillings
  • 6 oz Deli meats (salami, ham, turkey) Use a mix of your favorites
  • 4 oz Provolone cheese Sliced
  • 4 oz Mozzarella cheese Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Giardiniera (pickled vegetables) For added flavor
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For drizzling
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning For seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  3. Layer your choice of deli meats and cheeses inside the rolls.
  4. Add a layer of giardiniera for some extra flavor.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the sandwiches and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Close the sandwiches and wrap them in aluminum foil.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm.
Serving
  1. Serve and enjoy your gooey, cheesy sandwich!

Notes

For the best experience, serve these sandwiches hot right out of the oven. You can cut them into half or thirds for easy eating. They also go great with a cold drink!
