  • 1 can lemon pie filling (21 ounces)
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 ounces), softened and cubed Make sure to use softened cream cheese for easy spreading.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Drizzles over the top for flavor and crust.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the lemon pie filling into a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  3. Place the cubed cream cheese over the lemon pie filling.
  4. Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the cream cheese and pie filling.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  2. Let the cake cool completely before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, and garnish with fresh lemon slices. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for a week. Let it come to room temperature before serving.
