  • 1 bunch spinach approx. 1 lb/450g
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Pinch salt optional, to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Blanch the spinach in boiling salted water for 30-60 seconds until vibrant green.
  2. Immediately drain the spinach in a colander and rinse under cold water to stop cooking; squeeze out excess water.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
  4. Mix well by hand, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed, then taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

Adjust the amount of soy sauce and garlic to your preference. For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
