Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Assemble
- In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast.
Bake
- Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through to 165°F (74°C).
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken during the last 5 minutes of baking, until melted.
Serve
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
