Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Assemble
  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast.
Bake
  1. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through to 165°F (74°C).
  2. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken during the last 5 minutes of baking, until melted.
Serve
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
