Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Stir in the melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
Baking
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
- Once cooled, frost with brown butter frosting and enjoy!

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for about a week. You can also freeze for up to 2 months.
