  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Melt the butter and let it cool slightly before mixing.
  • 2 large eggs Can replace with 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce for a vegan option.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Alternative options can be added for extra flavor.
  • 1/2 cup brown butter frosting Frost brownies once cooled.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Stir in the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Serving
  1. Once cooled, frost with brown butter frosting and enjoy!
