Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 package graham crackers For the crust
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For spreading over the crust
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced Must be ripe for the best flavor
  • 1 cup heavy cream For whipping
  • 2 tablespoons sugar For sweetening the cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the graham crackers and mix with melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. Spread the caramel sauce over the cooled crust.
  6. Layer the sliced bananas on top of the caramel.
Whipping Cream
  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  2. Spread the whipped cream over the bananas.
Chilling
  1. Chill the pie for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a drizzle of extra caramel sauce on top and pairs well with coffee or tea. Store in the refrigerator and consume within a couple of days.
