  • 400 g beef (sliced thinly) Use tender cuts for best results.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Fresh is recommended.
  • 250 g lo mein noodles Cook according to package instructions.
Sauces and Seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Green onions (for garnish) Chopped for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
Cooking
  1. Add sliced beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
  2. Add broccoli and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the pan.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the dish cool down before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a pan or microwave. For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce and ginger for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the sauce amount for preferred flavor.
