Ingredients
  

Brownie Batter
  • 0.5 cup butter Melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.333 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
Chocolate Frosting
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Baking Brownies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  3. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Let cool briefly before frosting.
Making Frosting
  1. Combine softened butter, confectioners' sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, honey, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a bowl.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Frost brownies while they are still warm.

Notes

Store brownies in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week.
