Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.

- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make sure your baking powder is fresh for the best rise. Don’t overmix the batter; it’s okay if there are a few lumps. For added flavor, you can mix in some grated cheese or jalapeños. Wrap cooled cornbread in plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container; lasts at room temperature for up to two days or freeze for up to three months.
