Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- In a large oven-proof skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the brussel sprouts and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to brown.
- Move the brussel sprouts to the sides of the skillet and place the salmon fillets in the center. Pour the maple mixture over the salmon and brussel sprouts.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
Serve immediately with a side of rice or quinoa, and a lemon wedge for a fresh touch. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2-3 days.
