Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stir in the cooked sausage, shredded cheese, and cubed bread into the egg mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, assemble the casserole the night before and refrigerate. Bake directly from the fridge, adding an extra 10-15 minutes to the cook time.
