Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, broccoli florets, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, along with breadcrumbs if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can serve hot from the oven, pairing well with grilled chicken, roasted meats, or a fresh salad. For storage, let the casserole cool completely before placing it in an airtight container. It will stay fresh for about 3-4 days in the refrigerator or can be frozen for longer storage.
