Steak Preparation
- Pat the steak tips dry and toss them with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak tips for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
Pasta & Sauce Preparation
- Cook rigatoni pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in flour and cook for another minute, then gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat, stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked rigatoni and seared steak tips to the sauce, tossing to combine thoroughly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
Notes
For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
