- In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast, letting it sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic.
- Flatten each dough ball, add cheese, and wrap to seal.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, brush with garlic butter, and sprinkle parsley on top if using.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
