Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an added treat, sprinkle some sea salt on top before baking, or enjoy them with your favorite ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze for three months.
