Decorating Ingredients
  • 1 package white chocolate melting wafers Ghirardelli melting wafers are recommended.
  • 1 package holly berry sprinkles
Equipment
  • 1 piece food scale For measuring uniform cookie dough balls.
  • 1 piece light colored baking sheet Helps prevent cookies from over-browning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the maple cinnamon cookie dough and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  2. Portion the dough into desired size dough balls, measuring 1.5 oz for uniform cookies.
Baking
  1. Bake the cookies for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden on the edges.
  2. Allow the cookies to fully cool before decorating.
Decorating
  1. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl on half power to prevent overheating.
  2. Dip half of each cooled cookie into the melted white chocolate and lay them down on wax or parchment paper to dry.
  3. Let the chocolate-dipped portion set and harden.
  4. Pour additional melted white chocolate into a piping bag or ziplock bag and drizzle over the dipped portion of the cookies.
  5. Place holly berry sprinkles in the corner before the drizzle sets.

Notes

For best results, measure ingredients carefully and do not skip the chilling step. Consider using different toppings to suit your occasion.
