Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool slightly and then decorate with melted white chocolate before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Allow dough to chill in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
