Main Ingredients
  • 1 loaf garlic bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded Leftover rotisserie chicken works great.
  • 1 cup marinara sauce Can substitute with pesto or alfredo sauce.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the garlic bread in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the inside to make space for the filling.
  3. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with marinara sauce.
  4. Spoon the chicken mixture evenly onto the garlic bread halves.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over it.
Baking
  1. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, then slice and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
