Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine chia seeds, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together non-dairy milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir well to combine.
  4. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled, optionally topped with fruits, nuts, or your favorite toppings.

Notes

Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well to avoid clumping. If you like it sweeter, add more maple syrup or your favorite sweetener. For a creamier texture, use coconut milk or any other creamy non-dairy milk.
