Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
Baking
- Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
