  • 20 pieces Oreo cookies Crushed for mixing
  • 1 cup Chocolate (melting chocolate or chocolate chips) Melted for the mixture
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut (or edible grass) Optional for decoration
  • 1 cup Candy eggs (M&M's or chocolate eggs) To fill the nests
  • 2 tablespoons Butter To help with mixing (optional)

Preparation
  1. Begin by crushing the Oreo cookies in a bowl.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  3. Mix the crushed Oreos with melted chocolate until well combined.
  4. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, scoop out small portions of the Oreo mixture and shape them into nests.
  5. Create an indentation in the center of each nest for the eggs.
  6. Let the nests set until the chocolate is firm.
  7. Once set, place the candy eggs in the center of each nest.
  8. Optionally, sprinkle shredded coconut around the edges for a decorative touch.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Refrigerate for longer freshness but serve at room temperature for best flavor.
