Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 12 large Strawberries
  • 12 ounces Chocolate melting wafers
Decorations
  • 12 Candy corn (cut for beaks)
  • 24 Candy eyes (2 per turkey)
  • 24 Pretzel sticks (2 per turkey for tail feathers)
  • 12-24 Reeses Pieces or similar small candies (for colorful tail feathers, optional)

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

Instructions
  1. Melt chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring frequently.
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries. Hold by the stem and dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the berry.
  3. Place dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, attach two candy eyes, a small piece of candy corn for the beak, and two pretzel sticks for tail feathers. Optionally, add colorful candies for extra feathers.
  4. Refrigerate the turkeys for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping for best chocolate adhesion. You can also use white chocolate and food coloring for more vibrant turkeys.
