Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh berries. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
