Chocolate Mousse (No Eggs)

A rich and airy chocolate mousse recipe that is completely egg-free, perfect for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients
  

Mousse
  • 200 g Dark chocolate chopped
  • 400 ml Heavy cream very cold
  • 50 g Powdered sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Salt a pinch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gently melt the chopped dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Carefully fold the cooled melted chocolate into the whipped cream until just combined, avoiding deflation.
  4. Divide the mousse into serving glasses and chill for at least 2-4 hours, or until set, before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure your heavy cream is very cold before whipping. You can adjust the sweetness to your liking.
