Ingredients

Jello Layers
  • 1 package (6 oz) red Jell-O (strawberry or cherry)
  • 1 package (6 oz) green Jell-O (lime)
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • boiling water as needed
  • cold water as needed

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Small sharp knife

Method

Preparation
  1. Dissolve red Jell-O in boiling water, then add cold water. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and chill for 30-60 minutes until set.
  2. Prepare the white layer by dissolving unflavored gelatin in boiling water, then mixing with condensed milk and cold water. Carefully pour over the set red layer and chill for 30-60 minutes until firm.
  3. Dissolve green Jell-O in boiling water, add cold water, and let it cool before pouring over the white layer. Refrigerate the entire pan for at least four hours or overnight to set completely.
  4. Once the jello is fully set, use a small, sharp knife to cut it into 1-inch cubes. Gently roll each cube into a ball using your hands, or use a small melon baller/cookie scoop if desired.

Notes

Ensure each jello layer is fully set before adding the next to prevent colors from bleeding. For best results, chill thoroughly. You can also roll them in coconut flakes or sprinkles for extra flair.
