Preparation
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs to dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle on the dough.
- Twist the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool before serving.
Notes
Store Cinnamon Twisted Bread wrapped in plastic wrap or tin foil at room temperature for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze it tightly wrapped for up to three months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
