Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled For best flavor, use freshly brewed

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined, then stir in the brewed coffee.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the brownies cool in the pan before frosting.

Notes

Cut the brownies into squares and serve them on a nice plate. They are delicious on their own or can be served with vanilla ice cream on top. A sprinkle of cocoa powder or a drizzle of chocolate syrup can also add a lovely touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Use freshly brewed coffee for the best flavor and avoid overmixing.
