Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined, then stir in the brewed coffee.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan before frosting.
Notes
Cut the brownies into squares and serve them on a nice plate. They are delicious on their own or can be served with vanilla ice cream on top. A sprinkle of cocoa powder or a drizzle of chocolate syrup can also add a lovely touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week. Use freshly brewed coffee for the best flavor and avoid overmixing.
