  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2.25 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 15 cookies Oreo cookies crushed
  • 0.5 cup White chocolate chips optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are just set. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, do not overbake the cookies; they will continue to set as they cool. Chilling the dough for at least 30 minutes can help prevent spreading.
