Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10-inch bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream and vanilla extract.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an enhanced dessert experience. A drizzle of chocolate sauce or extra crushed Oreo cookies on top adds a lovely touch.
