Ingredients
  

For the tart filling
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries Rinse and remove any damaged cranberries.
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon butter Dot on top before baking.
For the crust
  • 1 pre-made tart crust pre-made tart crust

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat until the mixture starts to thicken.
  3. Pour the cranberry mixture into the pre-made tart crust.
  4. Dot the top with butter.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the tart is bubbly and the crust is golden.
  2. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Add whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for 2-3 days or freeze before baking for up to a month.
