  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Preparation
  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, to create a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth, then stir in the heavy cream.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly.
  5. Add the corn kernels, sugar, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the corn is heated through and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed, then serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a sprinkle of fresh chives before serving.
