Preparation
- Wash and dry the strawberries. Slice off the tops and cut each berry in half lengthwise.
- Using a paring knife or small spoon, carefully scoop out a small well in the center of each strawberry half.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon zest (if using), and a pinch of salt.
- Beat the mixture with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and fluffy, about 1 minute. Adjust the sweetness if needed.
- Spoon the filling into a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
Assembly
- Arrange the strawberry halves on a serving platter. Pipe a swirl of filling into each well.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or mint leaves if desired.
Notes
