Ingredients
  

Pasta and Shrimp
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
Sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add more if you love garlic!
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For best flavor, use freshly grated.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, include a pinch of red pepper flakes. Reserve pasta water before draining to adjust sauce thickness if needed.
