Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes each side).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper for a few hours before cooking. You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs if you prefer a leaner meat, but cooking times may vary. Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to the sauce for added nutrition and flavor.
