Ingredients
  

For the rice buns
  • 1 cup Sushi rice Cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil For mixing with the rice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Crispy panko breadcrumbs
For the burger
  • 4 oz Spicy raw tuna Mixed with soy sauce and seasonings
  • 1 medium California avocado Sliced
  • 2 sheets Nori (seaweed) Optional, for added flavor
For frying
  • 1 cup Oil For frying the rice buns
  • 1 egg Egg For binding the rice if desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooled rice with sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the rice into round 'buns' and coat them in panko breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Fry the rice buns in oil until golden and crispy.
  2. In another bowl, mix spicy tuna with soy sauce and any desired seasonings.
Assembly
  1. Assemble the burger by placing spicy tuna on one rice bun, adding sliced avocado, and topping with another rice bun.
  2. Serve hot, straight from the frying pan.

Notes

Make sure the sushi rice is cooled completely before shaping the buns to prevent them from falling apart. Adjust the spiciness of the tuna mix according to your taste. If you prefer a vegetarian option, substitute spicy tuna with fresh veggies or another protein.
