Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Croissant Dough
  • 1/2 cup croissant dough, cut into small pieces Feel free to use homemade croissant dough if preferred.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the pieces of croissant dough.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
Baking
  1. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature, plain or with spreads. Can be customized with fruits or nuts. Sprinkle some sugar on top for added crunch.
