Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the chickpea flour, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, ground flaxseeds, chia seeds, salt, oregano, and nutritional yeast.
- Pour in the boiling water and stir until all the ingredients are combined. You should have a thick, sticky dough.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out with a rolling pin until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the rolled dough into squares or rectangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
- Place the cut crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crunchy.
- Allow the crackers to cool before serving.
Notes
Once cooled, store the crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. For longer preservation, keep them in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Experiment with different seeds and seasonings based on your taste preferences.
