  • 10 ounces Spinach frozen, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 6 Large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk any kind
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix
  • 1/2 Onion small, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg ground, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, then sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until they are softened.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Fold in the thawed and thoroughly squeezed spinach, the sautéed onion and garlic, and the shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the entire quiche mixture into the prepared pie plate, ensuring it is spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the center is firm and a knife inserted into it comes out clean.
  7. Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding diced ham, bacon bits, or other vegetables like mushrooms or bell peppers. Ensure the spinach is thoroughly squeezed dry to prevent a watery quiche.
