  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • pinch Salt
Cookie Dough Layer
  • 2 tbsp Nut Butter cashew or almond
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Mini Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, mixing thoroughly.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix nut butter, brown sugar, and milk until smooth, then fold in the mini chocolate chips to create the cookie dough layer.
Chilling and Serving
  1. Carefully spoon the prepared cookie dough mixture over the oat mixture in the jar, then cover and refrigerate overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours to allow it to thicken.
  2. The next morning, stir the oats if desired, then add extra chocolate chips or a dollop of nut butter on top before serving for an extra treat.

Notes

For a richer cookie dough flavor, use cashew butter. Adjust sweetness to your preference by adding more or less maple syrup.
