Ingredients
  

For the cups
  • 12 oz chocolate (melted for cups) Good quality chocolate recommended for best flavor.
  • 6 small disposable cups (used to mold chocolate)
For decoration and filling
  • 6 small candy canes (crushed for decoration)
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder (for filling each cup)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (for topping) Can add extra for decoration.
  • Granulated sugar (for decoration) Sprinkled on the outside for a sparkling finish.

Method
 

Cup Preparation
  1. Slowly melt 12 oz of chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave on low, stirring gently until smooth.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into the 6 disposable cups, swirling it around the edges to fully cover them.
  3. Let the chocolate set for about 10 minutes, then repeat the coating to strengthen the cups.
  4. Carefully peel the hardened chocolate cups from the molds, maintaining their shape.
  5. Pour a little melted chocolate back into each cup and insert the crushed candy canes, allowing them to set for another 5 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each cup for a chocolatey base.
  2. Add mini marshmallows on top of the cocoa powder.
  3. Melt more chocolate and drizzle it over the marshmallows to secure them.
  4. Coat the outside of the cups with melted chocolate and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Serving
  1. Serve the chocolate cups immediately, placing them on a festive tray with a warm drink.
  2. Add whipped cream or extra marshmallows for an extra treat.

Notes

Store leftover cups in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days and do not fill until ready to serve. Experiment with different toppings like whipped cream or sprinkles.
