Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle any remaining M&Ms on top.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve cut into squares on a festive plate or warm with ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or freeze individually wrapped for up to 3 months.
