Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 2 cans Cans of green beans You can use canned, fresh, or frozen green beans.
  • 1 can Can of cream of mushroom soup For a creamier texture, use full-fat version.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Can be substituted with a dairy-free alternative if desired.
  • 1 cup French fried onions Reserve half for topping.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven and stir in half of the French fried onions.
  3. Top with the remaining onions and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Serve warm.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For reheating, place it in the oven or microwave. You can make this casserole ahead of time, just cover and refrigerate it before baking.
