Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring an overhang for easy removal, then set it aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips over low heat, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat, then stir in the heat-treated cake mix and vanilla extract until completely combined.
- Gently fold in most of the Christmas sprinkles, reserving a few for garnish if desired, then pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate the fudge for a minimum of 2 hours, or until it is firm enough to cut; then lift it out using the parchment paper and slice into squares.
Notes
Ensure your cake mix is heat-treated before adding to the fudge mixture to prevent any raw flour concerns. For extra festive flair, add a sprinkle of edible glitter on top before chilling.
