Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the molasses and eggs, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan before serving.

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or icing. Store the cake tightly covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container.
