Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on each half.
- If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Baking
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture. You can also use whole grain or sourdough bread for added texture. To store leftovers, let garlic bread cool completely, wrap it tightly, and refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
