  • 1 cup buttermilk Room temperature works best.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature for best results.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, sugar, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the colorful sprinkles.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
