Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
Baking
  1. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with powdered sugar before enjoying.

Notes

These muffins are best served warm. They can be paired with fresh fruit, yogurt, or a cup of coffee. Make sure not to overmix the batter to achieve the best texture. You can add chopped fruits like bananas or berries for added flavor, or try including chocolate chips for indulgence.
